Creating a podcast with excellence that makes an impact takes time, intentionality, and planning. If you feel overwhelmed by the process, here are four easy steps to help you.
1. Audit - Begin by auditing your time and podcast tasks. Track your time and activities for a week. Next, analyze what is working and what is not working. Are there things that you can delegate? Do you need to create a process for some of your activities?
2. Plan your week - Take time to reflect on last week, and plan this week.
3. Time Block & Prioritize - Put all big blocks on your calendar first and prioritize all other activities. Focus on the most important things, and schedule a time to do them.
4. Batch Content- Batch similar tasks together. Allow time for all the tasks that need to be completed. Plan all of your social media for the month in one sitting. Examples: Record one day a week, and knock out several interviews. Create all the graphics you need for the month in one sitting. Work on show notes for a month worth of shows in one sitting.
